Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangalore Royal Challengers at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Ganguly’s decision to bowl proved extremely successful as right from the first over Bangalore Royal Challengers were struggling to bat. They lost Sreevats Goswami in the second over and KKR’s took full advantage of this by claiming wickets at regular intervals. After 14 overs the Bangalore team was struggling at 85 for five, with Jacques Kallis batting on 32 and Robin Uthappa on 8.

March 13, 2010 : Today the 2nd match of DLF – IPL – 2010 between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals was played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bat first. Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar opened the batting for Mumbai Indians and gave them a flying start. But later they lost three quick wickets but some solid performances from the middle order gave them a good score. Mumbai Indians scored 212 for 6 in 20 overs.

Chasing the total of 213 to win, Rajasthan Royals lost wickets at regular interval. But Yusuf Pathan played a brilliant knock and scored a century of just 37 balls. Despite a brilliant knock Rajasthan Royals, lost the match in the final over by just 4 runs.
