Match 10 IPL 2013 – Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils
Date – Tue Apr 9
Time – 8:00 pm i.e 14:30 GMT | 20:00 IST
Venue – Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
Today in the 10th match of Pepsi IPL 2013, Mumbai Indians will take on Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai who lost their first match by 2 runs but bounced back well in their second match against Chennai to register a win will be looking to marginalize Delhi who have lost both matches played so far.
The biggest asset of Mumbai is the opening pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting. World’s best batsmen would like to dictate terms at their home ground so it will be a real daunting task for Delhi bowlers. Pollard in the middle order has already shown how lethal he can be in death overs. The bowling department will be boosted as Lasith Malinga will join Mumbai squad today after recovering from back injury.
Delhi Daredevils also have something to cheer about in today’s match as last season’s Purple Cap winner Morne Morkel will join them today. With the likes of David Warner, Virender Sehwag, and Mahela Jayawardene, Delhi lineup looks formidable.
If stats are to be seen, both teams have played 10 matches against each other and have won 5-5 each. But Mumbai scores high when playing at home ground as they have won 3 out of 4 matches.
