Today in the 30th match of Pepsi IPL 2013, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Shane Watson and Ajinkya Rahane gave them flying start as the duo added 71 runs in 7.1 over before Rahane got out afte scoring just 16 of those. Shane Watson was at his devastating best as he smashed every Chennai bowler. He scored a brilliant 101 off 61 balls which included 6 fours and 6 sixes. It was his century and a 22 ball 36 by Stuart Binny which helped Rajasthan Royals post a good total of 185/4 in 20 overs.

Chasing 186 to win, Chennai lost Murali Vijay when the team score was just 22 but Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina then steadied the innings. Suresh Raina scored a brilliant 35 ball 51 before getting out where as M Hussey continued his good run and scored a brilliant 88 off 51 balls which included 13 fours and 1 six. Needing 46 to win from 5 overs, the game was poised for an interesting finish as Hussey got run out by Dravid followed by Ravindra Jadeja’s wicket for a duck giving some hope to the Royals. But Dhoni’s 16 ball 21 took CSK closed to victory. Needing 11 of last over, Dwayne Bravo hit a six followed by doubles to take Chennai to a well fought 5 wicket win.

Today in the 29th match of IPL 2013, Kings XI Punjab won the toss and invited Pune to bat first. Robin Uthappa and Aaron Finch gave Pune Warriors India a perfect start as the duo added 83 runs for the first wicket partnership. Robin Uthappa got out after scoring 33 ball 37 but Aaron Finch and Yuvraj Singh then continued from where he left. Yuvraj scored 34 off 24 balls which included 2 fours and 3 sixes. Today in the 28th match of Pepsi IPL 2013, Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first. The change in the opening pair didnt do much benefit as Dwayne Smith got out after scoring just 8. Star of Mumbai in this season, Dinesh Karthik also got out cheaply leaving Mumbai at 22/2 in 5.1 overs. But master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma then played superbly and took the team out of crisis. The master completed his half century and scored 54 off 47 balls (3×4,2×6) before getting out. Rohit Sharma was at his devastating best today as he hammered Delhi bowlers to all corners of the ground. He scored 73 off 43 balls which included 5 fours and 5 sixes. Finally Mumbai posted a total of 161/4 in 20 overs.

Chasing 162 for a desperate win, Delhi opened with Mahela Jayawardene and Virender Sehwag. From the very first ball, Sehwag looked in no mood to spare Mumbai bowlers as he and Mahela scored 151 runs in 15.5 overs for the first wicket stand. Mahela got out after scoring 59 off 43 balls where as Sehwag remained unbeaten on 95 off 57 balls which included 13 fours and 2 sixes. Finally Delhi registered their first win in this season and that too by a huge margin of 9 wickets.
