Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to field first in the 6th match of DLF IPL 2010. Delhi Daredevils bowlers made the most of their decision and restricted Rajasthan Royals to 141/6 in 20 overs.

Rajasthan Royals big gun Yusuf Pathan failed today and was out on a duck but a brilliant innings from Abhishek Jhunjhunwala (53 not out) made it possible for them to score 141

Rajasthan Royals lost wickets at regular interval and none of the top order batsmen could face the warth of Delhi Daredevils bowlers. Dirk Nannes struck in his very first over dismissing Swapnil Asnodkar and from there on the fall of wickets started. Rajasthan Royals got some respite with a 60-run fifth wicket partnership between Paras Dogra (29) and Jhunjhunwala.

Now its upto the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals to restrict Delhi Daredevils and save themself from a second defeat.

Rajasthan Royals take on Delhi Daredevils today in the match number 6 of DLF IPL season 3. Delhi Daredevils are riding high on the win where as Rajasthan Royals need to pull the socks up if they wish to give a scare to Gambhir’s Delhi Daredevils. March 13, 2010 : Today the 2nd match of DLF – IPL – 2010 between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals was played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bat first. Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar opened the batting for Mumbai Indians and gave them a flying start. But later they lost three quick wickets but some solid performances from the middle order gave them a good score. Mumbai Indians scored 212 for 6 in 20 overs.

Chasing the total of 213 to win, Rajasthan Royals lost wickets at regular interval. But Yusuf Pathan played a brilliant knock and scored a century of just 37 balls. Despite a brilliant knock Rajasthan Royals, lost the match in the final over by just 4 runs.
