In the 32nd match of DLF – IPL Deccan Chargers lost yet again and thus it looked like they are virtually out of the race for the semi finals. Chasing a mammoth target of 205, they lost Gibbs very soon and then Gilchrist played some shots before perishing for 24. He was the only hope for Deccan Chargers and once the Kolkata Knight Riders got his wicket half the battle was won.Rohit Sharma and V. Rao played some good shots but the asking rate was beyond the reach. Rao played brilliantly and at one stage it looked like he will take the win out of the jaws of Knight Riders but all the efforts failed as they needed 33 runs in the last over. Rao scored a brilliant 71 of just 42 balls. With this loss, Deccan Chargers have made it almost impossible to enter the semifinals.
