Today in the 26th match of Pepsi IPL Season 6, KKR won the toss and elected to bat first. Gautam Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan gave them flying start as the duo added 46 runs in just 5.5 overs. But with the wicket of Gautam Gambhir, KKR batting line up started to crumble. From 46/1 they were reduced to 55/4 in 8 overs. The duo of Jadeja and Ashwin proved too good for KKR batsmen as they both got 5 wickets and never allowed any batsmen to settle. Finally Kolkata could manage to post 119/9 n 20 overs.

Chasing 120 to win, CSK opened with Michael Hussey and Ravichandran Ashwin but this experiment didnt payed well as Ravichandran Ashwin got out when the team score was just 24. Murli Vijay( 2 off 5 balls) also fell cheaply followed by Suresh Raina (7 off 8 balls). CSK again looked to MS Dhoni to take them to victory but captain cool got run out after scoring just 9 off 7 balls. Michael Hussy also got out after scoring 40 off 51 balls leaving CSK struggling at 89/6 in 16.5 overs. Needing 31 to win off 19 balls, Chennai needed a heroic batting and Ravindra Jadeja didnt disappointed. Match 26 IPL 2013 – Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings Pre Match Analysis

Match 26 IPL 2013 –Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings
Date – Sat Apr 20
Time – 4:00 pm i.e 10:30 GMT | 16:00 IST
Venue – Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Today in the 26th match of IPL season 6, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Garden. KKR who lost their last match against Punjab by just 4 runs would be going all guns blazing against CSK who are coming in this match with a comprehensive win against Delhi Daredevils.

Kolkata Knight Riders biggest challenge would be the form of Chennai batsmen. CSK players like Michael Hussey, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja can change the game within a matter of few overs and thus KKR needs to devise a game plan to curtail them.

As per IPL stats, out of 10 matches played so far, Chennai has won 6 and thus with 60 % win percentage, they are considered favorites but the form of Kolkata captain Gambhir can change be the real game changer. He has single handily took his team to victories and is the highest run getter for KKR so far in this season. Also with the inclusion of Brendon McCullum, KKR batting line up has boosted and thus this match is expected to be a high scoring game.

Today in the 19th match of IPL 2013, Pune Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Robin Uthappa and Aaron Finch gave Pune a perfect start as they added 96 runs in just 12.3 overs before Finch got out after scoring 67 off 45 balls( 10×4,2×6).
