Today in the 48th match of IPL 2013, Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first. Mahela Jayawardene was the first to fall as he got out when the team score was just 13. Virender Sehwag also got out soon leaving Delhi at 32/2 in 7.1 overs. Unmukt Chand was the next to fall and Delhi were struggling at 50/3 in 10.5 overs. In the bid to increase the run rate, wickets started to fall and the whole batting order collapsed. From 50/3 Delhi were all out for 80 with Unmukt Chand top scoring as he managed to score 17 off 24 balls.

Chasing 81 to win, Parthiv Patel and Shikhar Dhawan added 33 runs for the first wicket. Shikhar Dhawan was the first to fall as he was out after scoring 22. With this wicket, Delhi bounced back as they took 2 quick wickets to reduce Sunrisers to 43/3 in 6.5 overs. But the total to defend was too low for Delhi bowlers and Sunrisers then managed to reach the total with 6 wickets in hand.
