Yousaf scored the fastest fifty of the tournament and when he was batting it looked Rajasthan Royals are very much in the game. But he was out at the team score of 112. Smith took the responsibility for taking Rajasthan Royals to victory and scored a fifty. But the run rate was climbing and that what forced the players to do some lusty hitting. Kaif hit 3 sixes on 1 over of Symonds and Rajasthan Royals looked in complete charge of the game. But Shahid Afridi had different plans and in the 17 over of the inning he got two major breakthroughs. It could have been three if the catch was not dropped. Rajasthan Royals needed 21 runs from the last 10 balls and it could be anyone’s game. R P Singh was given the second last over and he bowled brilliantly by giving just singles on first two balls and then got the wicket of Ravindra Jadeja.In the next two balls a single and a wicket was what Deccan Chargers got. In the last over Rajasthan Royals needed 17 runs and Symond was the one who was bowling. The first ball was hit for two, second for a single.third was hit for a four. In the last 3 balls they needed 10 runs. The fourth ball was hit for a six by Shane Warne and then Shane Warne striked the ball for 1 more six and it was all over for Deccan Chargers.
