In an emphatic style, Dhoni lead Chennai Super Kings won the final of CLT20 2010 by beating Warriors by 8 wickets today. Indian Captain MS Dhoni added one more feather to his cap with this win. Earlier this year, Chennai Super Kings had also won DLF Indian Premier League 2010 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

Warriors who won the toss decided to bat first and D Jacobs gave them a perfect start. But it was his wicket which changed the entire complexion of game. From a flying start to a totally slow ending, Warriors were proved to be a weak team today when compared to Chennai Super Kings. Chennai Super Kings were given a total of 129 to win and the openers M Vijay and M Hussey gave them a perfect start. Both of them scored 50’s and scored 103 for first wicket partnership. M Vijay was the first to get out, soon Suresh Raina also got out leaving Chennai Super Kings at 107/2 in 15.5 overs. Dhoni and Hussey then got the team safely to win with Dhoni hitting the winning runs.

Airtel Champions League 2010 has just one match remaining and that is the grand final between two teams from Group A, Chennai Super Kings and Warriors. Both these teams have played superbly so far in this tournament and the final is evenly balanced between the two.
