Kings XI have done it again in the 13th match of the Indian Premier League. Delhi Daredevils had given a small target and it was very easy for the Kings XI to chase that target. Batting of Kings XI Punjab Innings started and Karan Goel was out in the very first over, followed by Kumar Sangakkara in the 3rd over caught by Karthik. Then it seemed like Delhi DareDevils will fight it back and will bring out an interesting match out of a single sided one. But Simon Katich and Mahela Jayawardene had a good partnership and it eased the work for rest of Kings XI team members. They scored at a good runrate and never let the pressure built on. Once the partnership was broken, captain of the team Yuvraj Singh came to the center and played a captains knock. He was not out for 40 and took the team to victory. Katich laid the foundation for victory by scoring 75 runs in just 52 balls and his inning was well rewarded with a win.

In the 13 match of DLF IPL Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first. Riding on the previous success, Sehwag and Gambhir were confident to provide a good start but Brett Lee and Irfan Pathan shattered the dreams as Pathan got the prestigious wicket of Sehwag when the team score was only 11. Soon Brett Lee got the priced scalp of Shikhar Dhawan who might be considered unlucky to be given out when replays showed that the ball had touched the shoulders and not the hand gloves. VRV Singh was the next bowler to cause some problems for the Delhi Daredevils an got wickets of Malik and Gambhir. Half of the DareDevils were back to pavilion when the team score was mere 88 in 12 overs.Yuvraj Singh also bowled Karthik and caused more problems for Delhi Daredevils. Tiwari was the one who showed some guts against the pacers of Kings XI and scored 39 runs and provided much needed respite. VRV Singh again came to action and got rid of Tiwari while he was attempting to hit a straight shot.At the end of 18 overs Delhi DareDevils were 139/7. Some shots to boundary in the last two overs took the team score to 158 runs which was far less than they had expected when they won the toss and decided to bat first. Now its up to the bowlers of Delhi Daredevils to restrict the Kings XI batsmen and thus continue the winning stride.

Virender Sehwag murdered the bowling attack by hitting 10 fours and 6 sixes in his 41 ball 94 runs and lead to consecutive 9 wickets win. This was the second win for Delhi DareDevils in their two matches. Sehwag started from the very first over and completed the complete massacre in just 13 overs. Symonds was the most expensive bowler by giving 35 runs in 2 overs.It looked like a highlights is going on as every ball Sehwag played was reaching the boundary.

What a super batting performance by Rohit Sharma!! The only Deccan Charger who showed some courage today was Rohit Sharma. Deccan Chargers Won the toss and elected to bat first but Gilchrist went out cheaply when the team score was 9. Soon after at the team score of 23 Laxman was bowled by Asif. Rao, Symonds and Afridi also could not perform as desired and Deccan Chargers were reduced to 60/5 in 12.1 overs. As per the T20 standards the run rate was also very low and it was felt the Delhi Daredevils would be able to restrict the Deccan Chargers below 100. But then a young Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma came to the rescue of Deccan Chargers and played a cameo by smashing the ball to all corners of the ground. He scored 66 runs of just 36 balls and took the Deccan Chargers score to some thing more respectable. He scored 26 runs in a single over and thus the team score was raised to 123 in 18.4 overs. Once he was out not much was left for Deccan Chargers but Vaas striked 6 on the last ball which was a no ball and thus the team ended with a score of 142 in their alloted 20 overs.Thelast five overs were the most productive for Deccan Chargers
