The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg is the stadium which showcases the rich cricket legacy of South Africa. It was built in 1956 and after some modifications in 1991, it has became one of the best stadiums with all up to date facilities in South Africa. It hosted the 2003 World Cup final between Australia and India and The IPL 2009 final between the Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Bangalore. It has a capacity of 34000 and is home ground of Gauteng, Transvaal.
