In a sensational match which changed with every ball being bowled, Rajasthan Royals managed to sneak past to victory by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders on the basis of boundary count.

Kallis also got a start and scored 13 before Tambe got his wicket. M Pandey then raised some hopes with a six and four but got out in that very over. S Yadav then played a superb cameo of 31 off 19 balls to bring KKR back in the hunt. KKR needed 16 off 12 balls but three wickets fell in the 19th over by Faulkner leaving KKR struggling at 141/7 in 18.5 overs. Shakib Al Hasan then came to the team rescue as he scored a brilliant 24 off 14 balls. KKR needed 3 to win off the last ball but Shakib managed to score a double and thus the match was tied.
Earlier Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers A Rahane and KK Nair added 13 runs before Nair got out after scoring just 1.
