Kings XI Punjab continued their supremacy in the season and thrashed Delhi Daredevils by 7 wickets to go to qualifiers with an emphatic win on their back. The dismal show of Delhi continued as they were all out for 115 and lost yet another match in the season.
Chasing 116 to win, Kings got off to a poor start with Sehwag and Maxwell falling cheaply. KXIP were 16/2 when Manan Vohra and David Miller took the charge. The duo not only made sure that KXIP not lose any more wicket but also thrashed Delhi bowlers. Vohra got out after scoring 47 where as Miller remained unbeaten on 47 in their emphatic run chase.
Earlier Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field first. Mayank Agarwal and Kevin Pieterson opened the innings but Mayank fell cheaply for just 2. Dinesh Karthik and Kedar Jadhav fell in the same over and Delhi were struggling at 44/3 in 6 overs. Captain Pieterson was the lone warrior in Delhi innings today as he scored 58 while the test of the players were together able to put 57 and over Delhi were all out for 115/10 in 18.1 overs.
