Delhi Daredevils were riding high with an empathic win in the last match. but today last match’s hero David Warner got out for just 4 runs and soon Sehwag also got out after scoring quick 19 runs. Collingwood and Jadav also went out cheaply and it looked Delhi Daredevils would face some serious problems in today’s match. they were 67/4 in 8.3 overs and it looked they possibly not pose a total of 150 or more. But Gambhir and Karthik played a superb knock and got a valuable partnership. They both took the team score to 76 runs. Karthik then played a scintillating innings of 69 off just 38 balls. It was his super knock which propelled the Delhi Daredevils innings and they could finally score 188/6 in 20 overs.
Chasing a total of 189 to win, Rajasthan Royals got to a terrible start and lost 2 wickets in the very first over. They could never recover from this and kept loosing wickets at regular interval. Half of the team was back in pavilion for just 66 runs on board. Wickets were falling like heap of cards finally they were all out for 121 and thus lost the match by 67 runs.
