Indian soil seems to be the fortune changer for Mumbai as they won their second match today. In a high scoring match, Mumbai Indians edge past Royal Challangers Bangalore by 19 runs.

Chasing 188 to win, RCB got off to a flying start with openers Chris Gayle and Parthiv Patel adding 53 runs in 5 overs for the first wicket stand. Parthiv Patel was the first wicket to fall as he was bowled by Harbhajan but his 19 ball 26 had given a good start to RCB. Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli then took from where Patel left and the duo took the score to 94 at which again Harbhajan striked and got the wicket of dangerous looking Gayle. AB de Villers and Kohli then took the team score past 100 run mark. Just when the duo started to take the match away from Mumbai, Bumrah bowled AB de Villers and in the very next over, Virat Kohli also got out after scoring 35. This twin blow brought Mumbai back into the game and the bowlers seized the opportunity. One after the another, wickets started to fall. RCB needed 35 to win from last 2 overs but with no set batsmen on crease, they could manage to score just 168/8 and thus lost the match by 19 runs.
