Today’s Match – IPL 2016 Final – Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Date: May 29, 2016
Time: 20.00 (8pm Indian Time)
Venue: M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

The VIVO IPL 2016 season will come to an end today with the final between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bangalore who at one stage were almost out of the league with just two wins out of eight had a dramatic turnaround of events thanks to Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The duo not only shattered dreams of other teams to qualify but also broke confidence of bowlers by smashing fours and sixes. RCB won five of their remaining six matches to eventually end up second on points table. In the last match, though they were 68/6 but again AB de Villiers took the challenge and brought the team in final.

Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand had a decent season and were at the top of the table but with two defeats they dropped to number 3 just before the league stage ended. In the eliminator against KKR, they looked jittery but it was captain David Warner who single handily took the team to the final.

If both teams are compared, they have equally strong batting and bowling lineups. It is expected to be a scintillating evening and RCB would be hoping for a third title where as Sunrisers would be hoping for their maiden title win.
