Kings XI were defeated by Chennai Super Kings today in the 31 match of DLF – IPL by 18 runs. Chasing a target of 182, Kings XI had a bad start and lost two wickets at just 29. Then Sarwan and Marsh took the score to 95 at which Sarwan was out. Once he went, Kings XI lost 3 more wickets in quick succession and were 115/6 in 15 overs.They needed 55 runs from the last 3 overs and that was really a herculean task. Pathan and Piyush Chawla played some good shots but all the efforts went to vain as the run rate was more than they could achieve.Though it brought some smiles on the face of Preity Zinta but those were short lived and they needed 27 in the last over.
