Then soon two more wickets fell and Kings XI Punjab were reduced to 35/3 and it looked the game is open again for both teams. But Yuvraj Singh and Sangakkara made sure that Kings XI Punjab win the game and keep alive the chances to make it in semifinals. Though the match witnessed some sensational moments in which it looked Delhi Daredevils will strike back but Kings XI Punjab played really well. In the end it was Pathan who shattered all hope of Delhi Daredevils and thus Kings XI Punjab won the match by 6 wickets.
