Captain Kohli played a superb innings of 99 off 58 balls which included 10 fours and 4 sixes but was unlucky to get run out on 99. But his innings and a cameo of 32 by AB de Villiers helped RCB post 183/4 in 20 overs.

Sehwag also got out soon leaving Delhi at 49/2 in 5.2 overs. Captain David Warner and Unmukt Chand had a responsibility to share but Warner failed as he was bowled by Henriques for just 4. Unmukt Chand continued to anchor the innings and along with Ben Rohrer added 58 runs to keep Delhi alive in the hunt. But with the fall of Ben and Unmukt, RCB bounced back to reduce Delhi to 131/6 in 16.3 overs. Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel then raised the fought back hard to make sure RCB sweat hard for the win as the duo took Delhi close to target and scored 14 runs in the last over but with the fall of Morkel, RCB snatched a 4 run victory to keep themselves alive in the league.
