With exit of Shashi Tharror, all eyes are now on the BCCI as reports have come out that BCCI officials are thinking about axing the IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi.As per reports, BCCI officials are very upset as Tharror vs Lalit Controversy has brought BCCI under tax scanner. “Modi’s exit is a foregone conclusion. The BCCI members are extremely unhappy in the manner in which he brought about this controversy,” a top BCCI source informed.

“Never in the history of BCCI has the Income Tax sleuths raided the offices. It has not only tarnished the image of the Board but has also sullied the IPL brand,” the source said.

Today, even in Parliament, the question relating to black money in IPL was raised more than one time. Leaders from all parties want thorough investigation about the money involved in Indian Premier League.

As per some reports, BCCI President may take up the post of IPL Co Commissioner. Modi who is in Duba for an ICC meet has to wait for the meeting of general council to be held on 26th, only after that his future will be decided.
