The IPL 2010 will be bigger and better as 97 players including 26 Pakistani players have registered their names for the auction which is be held on 19th January 2010. Earlier Lalit Modi made it very clear that Pakistani player can only play via auction. Now Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Asif, Mohammed Aamer and Umar Akmal along with 22 Pakistani players have filed their registration.

The major change in this IPL would be that this time players from rival ICL have also registered. Some of these players are : -Saqlain Mushtaq, Damien Martyn, Chris Cairns Justin Kemp, Rizwan Cheema and Khurram Chohan, Ryan ten Doeschate, Niall O’Brien of Ireland.
