Brijesh Patel – the IPL Governing Council chairman gave IPL fans a huge reason to cheer as he announced that IPL 2020 will be held in UAE from September 19, 2020, pending government clearance. The 13th edition of IPL will have its final on November 8, 2020. The complete schedule would be announced very soon.

Earlier it was speculated that IPL 2020 would be cancelled due to the wide spread pandemic – COVID19. After the Men’s T20 World Cup was postponed, BCCI had a time window and UAE also agreed on providing the infrastructure to conduct the glamours cricket league.

Next week a meeting of the IPL Governing Council will be held in which the entire plan for IPL 2020 would be drafted.
