The chairman of IPL ie Indian Premier League Mr Lalit Modi told BBE sports that he would be more than happy to move his IPL season forward if it makes sure that the England players are keen in playing for IPL teams.This statement made it possible for the England’s top players to feature in the lucrative Indian Twenty20 series in the future.
This comes after English cricket boss Giles Clarke said no England player would want to go to the IPL. “We are not interested in people playing in the IPL,” Clarke said. “The IPL is a domestic competition and we’re not going to alter our season for a domestic season in another country,” he said.
Ajay Jadeja on IPL

DLF – IPL Player of the League
The Indian Premier League on Monday announced that the legendary trio of Indian cricket Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri – would adjudicate the DLF Player of the League Award in the DLF Indian Premier League.The award consists of a trophy along with a cash prize of 10 lakhs.
Former Indian captains Pataudi, Gavaskar and Shastri who are members of the DLF Indian Premier League Governing Council were unanimously chosen by the DLF Indian Premier Leagues Governing Council as the adjudicators for picking the Player of the League.
